Talk about all things babies and bodies--pregnancy, lactation, postpartum, doula support, Black Maternal Health, etc.

It's meant to be a safe space, but still on the public end of the spectrum. These are things we want in the discourse of status quo society. For deeper/more personal conversations, please consider a more private group where participants are more or less vetted.

Telling our stories helps us process our experience & related emotions. It can also shine light on the work still to be done.

Why come to Black C🥦nnabis Week and Opportunities Conference? Well, keep reading. . .

Greetings!  So, you may have seen and heard me promoting Black Cannabis Week (BCW) for a few years and saying that YOU really wanna be in the rooms, but it's true!!!  And truer this year than ever due to the state of things globally, nationally, locally, at home, and with ourselves.  Safety, community, healing, and fun have become crucial for our survival as fear, trauma, ignorance, disenfranchisement, violence, inflation, and occupation are grabbing at us like straws, flailing as it melts like the wicked witch of the west, then drowns in its own muck and finally evaporates so the molecules can reconfigure as pure goodness.  We know that one perfect love is the antidote, and it IS winning, which is why they are wilin' out like they currently are.

It's been almost 21 years since I have had my own brand-new tiny people. I used to think I would have one last one or a set of twins after my first 5, EMOZA, were grown, but I think that ship has sailed. Now, it is my honor and pleasure to claim all of the brand-new tiny people whose mommies allow me to support them in their perinatal journeys, including the 4th trimester. While I look forward to learning all about new insights, the best useful parenting tips, and gadgets, this is also a safe space to be vulnerable towards healing and growing. Definitely feel free to vent, whine and complain as well as gush and giggle about all the feelings, thoughts, and experiences you are having along this birthing person trip.
